Slow Down Time

There are situations in life where you wish that you had control over the inevitable. Situations where you wish you could reverse time or make it stop just for a little while.
Situations where you want to help and be a support system, but feel completely and utterly helpless. Situations where it takes everything within you to fake a smile and tell everyone that you are ok.
But there is one situation in life where you want to grab a family member for the last time and tell them that you love them with all your heart. That everything will be ok and that we will meet again someday.

Today I received some news about my uncle and the prognosis is not looking good. The news is not completely unexpected, but it is also sudden. His condition has been fragile for a while, but his condition is quickly getting worse. While I can not currently be in Maryland by his side, I am doing the best I can to stay strong and supportive throughout this time.
Tonight give those you love most an extra hug and tell them how much you love them.
If you could, I ask that you pray or keep him in your thoughts over the next few days. It would mean the world to my family and I. Thank you.

Thinking of and praying for your family. Especially your Uncle. Be strong and share your love with your family my friend. Big hug going out to you Katy.
