When All Else Fails…

Just run.
Never underestimate the power of a sub 20 degree, very windy run, with airplanes landing at the nearby airport… sometimes they can be the most peaceful.

Don’t run away from your problems…confront them. But when it gets to be too much to handle, it’s ok to run away from them briefly; just enough to clear your mind.
“The road. It’s a good listener.”
My name is Katy and I am a 23-year-old living, running, and cycling in and around the Washington, DC metro area. This blog chronicles my life, inner musings, and fitness adventures as I try to navigate this crazy thing called life!

Ahhh simply beautiful in how you expressed your emotions. Hope the run eased your inner thoughts…I’m sure the road was listening. Love & Hugs Sweetie!
True Katy. It is amazing how so many problems can be sorted out if one allows time for quiet reflection on a run. I would prefer it to be a little warmer though…
What a truthful post… I miss running dearly. I hope you are doing well!
Perfect! I am about to go for a run, or some rollerblading, to help distract myself. Even if it’s only for 30 minutes.
I am sooo impressed you ran outside in this weather!
