Katy Sputo is a 22-year-old recent college graduate based in Jacksonville, FL who blogs about healthy living, running, food, and social media. Through her blog, The Singing Runner, Katy strives to show that it is possible for young adults to make smart, healthy food decisions and live an active life.
Katy launched The Singing Runner in October 2010 as a way to document her training for her first half-marathon, the 2011 Walt Disney World Half-Marathon. Since Disney, Katy has ran numerous road races, completed cycling events, and most recently, completed her first sprint triathlon.
In the blogging community, Katy has been a Foodbuzz Featured Publisher since February 2011. She is also a Healthy Eating Champion with thePlate Community and is a member of FitBlogger and Healthy Living Blogs.
In her spare time, she loves running, performing in musical theatre productions, cooking, writing, photography, volunteering with Girls on the Run, and traveling.
